It’s time for another installment in my Ask A Social Media Advisor series. Today I answer a question from my client Troi Kaz, a real estate agent in South Carolina that sells DeBordieu Homes. Her question was:
I manage or co-administrate about 6 Facebook pages for charities and school organizations. (I know, I’m crazy.) Often I want to comment or “like” as myself and don’t know how to do that without showing up as the charity or organization. How can I comment or “like” as myself?
Surprisingly it’s pretty easy to do with just a few simply clicks inside your Facebook page. Here’s how:
So make those few clicks and start commenting on a Facebook page you manage with your personal profile.

Good post, thanks! But how does this work on the Android App? I’m managing a few pages and just noticed that when I try to list a post, it automatically shows THAT page liking their own post, instead of me personally. On the app it’s showing in my personal news feed, but the like appears as the organization. I don’t recall having this problem until recently, so maybe it’s a Facebook update thing, but surely there’s a work around? Thanks!
If you are doing from your phone, make sure to download the pages app and use that instead of the basic FB app.
