So, it appears I don’t need to make anymore payments till the year 9999. Thanks!
Social Media Marketing- JC Penney
JC Penney did a good job with their holiday ad in integrating social media. They are also going above and beyond by giving an option to signup for email offers and also text messages. On another note, during a recent visit they were also using FourSquare in their marketing by offering a special if you checked into the store. It saved me $10 on my recent purchase. Overall, I think they are doing a good job with their social media marketing strategy.

Social Media Marketing- Sears
Sears has a different approach to their Social Media Marketing than some of the other big brands I have seen. What do you think of their tagline: “Find us, friend us, follow us?” Personally, I think it is kinda catchy and different than others. The one down side I see is that the find us part makes me think we are going on a scavenger hunt to try & find their Twitter & Facebook accounts. I do like that they are including YouTube in their social media marketing. Very few corporations have done that.
Overall, I think Sears did a pretty good job in their print ad in including social media marketing.
A Day In The Life Of Social Media
Some powerful statistics regarding Social Media. I don’t see it going anywhere any time soon.

Social media marketing by NBC
Here is some social media marketing by NBC during the Sunday night
football game between the Eagles and the Cowboys. I think they did a
great job incorporating all the necessary components. What do you
think of their social media marketing strategy?
Social Media Marketing- Bojangles
This one is pretty close to me as I have a slight crush on Bojangles. The tasty chicken, yummy seasoned fries, and who can forget the ice cold Mtn Dew from the fountain?
But, I must say I’m a little disappointed in their social media marketing. There is no addresses, usernames or anything. And the buttons were very small.Jeremy Blanton
