Jeremy is originally from Reading, PA and moved to Myrtle Beach, SC in 1998 after graduating from high school. Shortly after moving to the area, he attended Coastal Carolina University where he graduated in Business Management. While working on his degree, Jeremy obtained his Real Estate License in 2001 and teamed up with his 
father from 2002 to 2009 to become a top producing real estate team in Myrtle Beach, The Blanton Team. After several years of success as a real estate agent, Jeremy then joined ActiveRain as a community builder in March 2009. ActiveRain is one of the world’s largest real estate networks with over 171,000 members worldwide. In December of 2009 he became the community manager of SmartHippo, social media platform designed to help consumers make informed decisions when purchasing a home.
Over the past two years, he has traveled all around the country teaching thousands how to use social media networks to increase their business. He has spoken to entire corporations on how to integrate social media sites like Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and blogs into their business and marketing strategy. He has been published on various sites including Coldwell Banker, Rubbermaid, New Home Source, Florida REALTOR® Magazine and currently is also a guest blogger for his local newspaper.
When Jeremy is not busy working, he loves getting out & enjoying some of the most beautiful golf courses Myrtle Beach has to offer. He is a professional army golfer (left, right, left, right down the course.) Some of his other loves include spending time with his awesome wife and children which he calls his “built in entertainment system.”
